Brooks

Once upon a time, I was a master's athlete and only wore Brooks spikes and training shoes. So I was already a Brooks fan. My focus was to take people on a journey to get to know the Brooks brand that I love in a quick and meaningful way. The orginal music loop is meant to appeal to more of a Gen Z audience. This short video aims to honor those who are committed to running – the serious athletes and the weekend warriors. My role: creative direction / script writing / rough-cut in Adobe Premiere / original music loop.

A driving dance club beat with a sinister bass line – classical piano riffs punctuated by emphatic, almost tribal, drums – combine perfectly to create this memorable Dystopian soundtrack. The music has been so well received that it gives me extra energy to keep pursuing my passion. There is something magical about telling a story in a film score. My role: original music soundtrack / I played all the instruments / music mixing. Dolby did the mastering.

The slow 808 adds a sense of momentum and depth, propelling the listener forward while maintaining the piece's contemplative mood.
